Web Qlix – Client Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

By engaging Web Qlix for any service, including website design, website development, logo design, branding, graphic design, content creation, SEO, hosting, domain registration, social media content, or any other digital service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Deposits & Payments

  • A deposit is required before any work commences.

  • All deposits are strictly non-refundable.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full before any website, design files, logos, branding assets, or completed work are released to the client.

  • Web Qlix reserves the right to pause or suspend work where invoices remain unpaid.

3. Project Hold Policy

  • Clients may request for a project to be placed on hold.

  • Projects may remain on hold for a maximum of 30 calendar days.

  • If a project remains inactive for more than 30 days, it will be considered closed.

  • To restart a closed project, a new deposit will be required and the project will be treated as a new booking.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide all content, images, logos, text, login details, and other information required to complete the project.

  • Delays in providing required materials may result in delays to project completion.

  • Web Qlix is not responsible for project delays caused by missing content, late responses, or incomplete information supplied by the client.

5. Revisions & Additional Work

  • Reasonable revisions are included during the design process.

  • Additional revisions, major design changes, new functionality, or work outside the agreed project scope may incur additional charges.

  • Any additional work will be quoted and approved before commencement.

6. Logo Design, Branding & Content Creation

  • All concepts, drafts, mock-ups, and design proposals remain the property of Web Qlix until full payment has been received.

  • Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the final approved design will transfer to the client.

  • Web Qlix reserves the right to display completed work within its portfolio, website, social media channels, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Website Ownership & Launch

  • Ownership of the completed website and associated design work transfers to the client only after full payment has been received.

  • Websites will not be launched, transferred, or handed over until all outstanding balances have been cleared.

  • Web Qlix retains ownership of all work until payment has been made in full.

8. Hosting, Domains & Maintenance

  • Where Web Qlix provides website hosting, domain registration, maintenance, or other recurring services, these services are subject to ongoing renewal fees.

  • Failure to pay hosting, maintenance, or renewal invoices may result in suspension or termination of services.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring renewal payments are made on time unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Web Qlix is not liable for any loss resulting from expired domains, suspended hosting, website downtime, or service interruptions caused by non-payment.

  • If a website or domain is transferred to another provider, Web Qlix shall not be responsible for any issues, downtime, errors, or losses occurring after the transfer has been completed.

9. Third-Party Services

  • Websites may rely on third-party services including hosting providers, domain registrars, plugins, themes, payment gateways, APIs, and software subscriptions.

  • Web Qlix cannot guarantee the continued availability, compatibility, pricing, or functionality of any third-party service.

  • Any third-party costs are non-refundable once purchased.

10. Client Content & Legal Responsibility

  • Clients are solely responsible for all content, images, videos, logos, trademarks, and materials supplied for use within a project.

  • Clients confirm that they own or have permission to use any materials provided to Web Qlix.

  • Web Qlix shall not be held liable for copyright infringement, trademark disputes, legal claims, or penalties arising from materials supplied by the client.

11. Project Cancellation

  • If a client cancels a project after work has commenced, all payments made, including deposits, are non-refundable.

  • Any work completed prior to cancellation shall remain the property of Web Qlix unless otherwise agreed in writing.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Web Qlix shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, financial, or business losses arising from the use of any website, design, branding, hosting, content, or digital service provided.

  • While every effort is made to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, Web Qlix does not guarantee specific business results, rankings, sales, enquiries, or performance outcomes.

13. Acceptance of Terms

Payment of a deposit, invoice, hosting fee, maintenance fee, or commencement of work shall constitute acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

14. Changes to These Terms

Web Qlix reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always apply to future projects and services.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
